  22. { MONEY & BANKS }  is an easy-to-use personal banking system with an
  23. unusually attractive interface for the DOS environment.  It is fast,
  24. efficient, and maintains accurate records for personal, small business,
  25. or professional checking, NOW, and money market accounts.  Unlike many
  26. other personal financial programs, { MONEY & BANKS }  has no double-entry
  27. bookkeeping, and does not bog the user down in obscure, irrelevant detail.
  28. It is, therefore, simple and a joy to use.  This software allows one to do
  29. his/her banking with automatic assignment of allocations, but NO "budget
  30. forecasting" or loan amortization tables or other superfluous modules that
  31. slow the execution of the program and the task at hand.

  33. Features include on-line documentation, context-sensitive help, hot-key
  34. calculator and calendar, check printing on regular bank-printed personal- or
  35. business-size checks (no special-order checks!), and a mailing label writer
  36. for paying bills that come with no return envelopes.  Reports are auto-
  37. matically generated from a multiple selection of pre-designed queries and are
  38. beautifully shown on the screen or sent to a wide variety of printers.  A
  39. utilities menu offers automatic, reliable backups, system information, a
  40. credit cards minder, a securities (CD's / Bonds / Portfolio) table, an
  41. appointments scheduler, and other selections.  There is no limit on the
  42. number of accounts that may be used and the account tables may grow to very
  43. large sizes.  The automatic and simple-to-use reconciliation module for
  44. monthly bank statements is an invaluable feature.

  46. The "unregistered" version is a fully functional evaluation copy.  There is
  47. an automatic end-of-year archiving and purge of data tables available in the
  48. registered version that is not included in the unregistered copy.  The
  49. registered copy also does not have the "unregistered" reminder notices.  The
  50. full registration fee is only $24.95.

  52. { MONEY & BANKS }  will work on DOS-compatible computers with a minimum of
  53. 512k of memory, DOS 3.1 or greater, and any video system (although there are
  54. some VGA-specific features that are compensated for with other video cards,
  55. including monochrome).  Mouse support is provided; however, a mouse is not
  56. necessary to use the program.  A hard disk is mandatory.  Installation is
  57. quick, easy, and offers an option to print the formatted documentation.
